Booking Conditions
the salt ___ residences
Our prices include the final cleaning, one set of towels per person, bed linen, the mobile TennengauPlus card, and the tourist tax. There will be no further costs incurring on-site, provided that all accompanying persons were specified at the time of booking. Please do not forget to specify your dog if applicable, otherwise we will have to charge you afterward. We kindly ask you to let us know of any changes before your arrival via e-mail stay@thesalt-hallein.com.
Note for group-
and business bookings
For groups of 9 or more guests, please send us your request directly at stay@thesalt-hallein.com, so we can make an individual offer to meet your needs.
Payment per credit card
At the moment of booking, we will charge 100% of the price to your credit card and confirm your booking immediately.
Payment per bank transfer
After booking, the duration of your stay with us will be blocked for up to four days, until we receive your payment. Upon receiving your payment, we will send you a booking confirmation for your reservation. If your payment is not received in time, we will release your slot for other guests.
CHECK-IN from 3 p.m.
CHECK-OUT by 11.00 a.m.
Earlier arrival or later departure must be agreed upon beforehand and is subject to availability.
Cancellation conditions
- Free cancellation is possible up to 48h after booking.
- Thereafter, the cancellation fee is 50% up to 15 days before arrival (the remaining 50% will be transferred back to your account immediately).
- From 14 days before arrival or no-shows, there will be a cancellation fee of 100%.
- Please note that in any case, if you cancel after 48h of booking, we will charge a processing fee of €150.
We will of course try to rent out your apartment to another guest. If we can, we will issue a voucher worth the same as your cancellation fee to you. You can redeem your voucher at the salt anytime within 12 months. And if you do have to cancel, please contact us first before doing so – maybe we can move you to an alternate date, saving additional costs for everyone.
In the event of short notice travel bans due to Corona (closed borders, flight bans, entry or exit quarantine), we will adapt the cancellation conditions according to your respective country of origin. Again, it’s best to keep in touch.
The cancellation conditions stated above apply to bookings made directly via our website. These conditions may differ for bookings made via online portals.
Travel cancellation insurance
With travel cancellation insurance, your cancellation fee will be reimbursed so that you can rebook at your convenience.

Key
The key card must be returned to the key safe upon departure. Should you lose the key to your apartment, we will have to charge you €150 should it not turn up within one week after your departure. You may use the key safe to deposit your key during your stay.
Damage during your stay
Our housekeeping team reports any damage and documents it by taking photos. Should a mishap occur during your stay, please contact us immediately (please include a photo), so that we can have the damage repaired as soon as possible (depending on the scope of the damage, either during your stay or after departure). Photos, a description of the damage, and an invoice will be sent to you per e-mail for submission to your insurance company or direct payment. More serious damage that has not been reported and is noticed after your departure will be documented precisely and charged to you.
