By car
Hallein can be reached by car easily, either directly via the motorway or the federal/state road.
Note: There are no private parking spaces available in front of the building. However, public parking spaces and garages can be found in the immediate vicinity.

By train and bus
The Hallein train station is only a 10-minute walk away. Here you will find various long-distance and short-distance (S-Bahn) connections.
Bus number 170 will take you from the main train station in Salzburg and the Salzburg city center directly to Hallein and back (closest stop “Hallein Staatsbruecke”).

From Salzburg Airport
Hallein is only about 15 minutes away from the airport by car. The average taxi fare from the airport to Hallein is around €45. The airport can also be reached easily by bus or train. To get to the salt, go directly to the Salzburg main train station and take the Postbus no. 170 or the S-Bahn train S3 in direction Hallein (cost around € 10,-).
From Munich Airport you will need around 2 hours by car.
